The Site

If you haven't already noticed, this site houses my very own
piece of Hanson fan fiction, or, more easily Hanfic, although
I don't commonly use that word.  Ever.  Okay, moving right
along.  Yes, this is where I get to show you my 'talent', which
really isn't all that great begin with, of writing.

And, obviously, I have no design skills what-so-ever.  Yep,
that's right.  None.  It doesn't matter how long I've been on
computers, which is closing in on 12 years, designing just is
not my strong point.  At all.  So, I picked up this little layout
from tripod.com's array of them to use for free.  Easy, no?
Thought so.  But, yes, I have no designing ability at all.  End
of story.

The Story

The story, titled Pair of Wings, popped into my mind while I
was listening to the song "Pour Out The Rain (Lacey's Song)"
by Buddy Jewell.  He's the man who won Nashville Star, if you
needed some background information on Buddy.  You'll see
why when you keep reading this and look under 'The Title'.
Yes you will.

But anyway, the story is about Taylor.  Oh good God, another
Taylor story.  I honestly can't believe I'm writing one myself.
If you've ever read any other stories I've written, normally I
focus on Zac.  Though I did end up starting one about Isaac
one.  Key word there starting, as in never finished.  Moving on.
I'm not going to ruin the story by telling you all about it here,
so go on and read it.  Good start.

I will tell that Taylor is 'in love' with one of the Saunder sisters,
whom he's known almost all his life.  And, he hates the other
one, who is, for lack of better words, a pain in his ass.  It
follows Taylor, who tells his own story, through the events, if
you can call them that, that involve one, or both sisters.

The Title

The title I, as said before, got from "Pour Out The Rain" by
Buddy Jewell.  Normally, I don't listen to country music, but this
has got to be one of my favorite songs of all time right now.
Honestly, it makes me cry sometimes, and other times it makes
me smile.  I'm in love with it.  But anyway, onto how I got the
actual title of the story.  Well, I'll let you figure it out.  This, dear
friends, is the chorus to "Pour Out The Rain":

Daddy, when we get to Heaven, can I taste the Milky Way?
Are we goin' there to visit, or are we goin' there to stay?
Am I gonna see my Grandpa? Can I have a pair of wings?
An' do you think that God could use another Angel,
To help pour out the rain?

Did you figure it out? Well, if you didn't then this is the line that
inspired me completely: Can I have a pair of wings? Do not ask
me how that little question sparked a story, but it did.  Be happy
with that.
